Do you know what is so weird about the concept of duality, or dualism?
Most people have an innate sense that duality is fundamental to our existence. How could we not? It’s woven into the fabric of our everyday lives, and has been as long as we’ve existed. We can easily list examples of duality:
- Life/Death
- Male/Female
- Mind/Body
- Right Brain/Left Brain
- Day/Night
And the list goes on. These aren’t trivial concepts. They define the very nature of our Reality.
Not surprisingly, Duality forms the basis or is deeply incorporated into virtually every major religion. Whether it is God and the Devil, Yin and Yang, or Feminine and Masculine, Duality inevitably provides a baseline structure for understanding God’s Creation.
We sense at a core level that Duality is fundamental. So how do we collectively define this most basic of concepts?
We don’t!
How you define the ultimate duality, if you think about it at all, probably stems from the religion you inherited and the social environment you inhabit. Or it’s some vague notions woven together in your mind from myriad life experiences. For most people, it’s probably a mix — an amalgam of prevailing wisdom mixed with personal experience and intuition.
So in terms of this most profound construct imaginable — the ultimate Duality that defines Creation — we don’t have a shared concept of how that is defined. After all these millenia of civilization, Humanity has yet to develop a shared model of the fundamental Duality.
Think about that.
Is there any wonder that our world is so full of confusion and conflict? We can’t even agree on the simplest, most elementary concept. And it only gets more complicated from there.
The ISIT Construct is a tool that will allow us to collectively develop a crystal clear definition of this primordial Duality. Once we’ve done this, we will have accomplished something in a matter of months that civilization has not been able to achieve in thousands of years.
I realize that’s an audacious statement to make. Nevertheless, I am compelled to boldly reassert that claim.
The ISIT Construct is revolutionary. It’s based on a radically logical structure that is beyond Dualism. It is a Binary Model of Reality.
Dualism has a somewhat checkered reputation as a philosophical framework. The confusion around the concept of duality has been going on since long before Plato, and probably will be for a long time to come. That’s because people aren’t clear on whether to look at Duality from an Absolute perspective or a Relative one.
An Absolute perspective on Duality applies when there are two absolutely opposite, mutually exclusive states: on-off, black-white, etc.
A Relative perspective on Duality — otherwise known as polarity — applies to the attribution of objects or concepts in Reality, like light-dark, hot-cold, good-evil, and other shades of grey.
These aren’t all-or-nothing characteristics. They fall on a spectrum, and more often than not, objects tend toward the center of the distribution — not the poles.
So applying Duality to our Relative Reality is a tricky proposition. Problems occur when people confuse Duality with Polarity, which leads to ideas like ‘all people of a certain race are bad’.
The confusion between Absolute Duality and Relative Polarity is and always has been at the base of a great deal of the conflict in our world, as people continue to make extreme, absolutist choices which rarely end well, and often lead to disaster.
The ISIT Construct resolves the Relative Duality problem by leaving the concept of Duality behind, and establishing a mechanism for defining the ultimate Binary Model of Reality; one that stands on a purely logical foundation and reconciles all other valid belief systems.
This modern model of Reality leverages all the knowledge, wisdom, and technology we have collectively inherited from our ancestors and developed ourselves — and it has the potential to change the world.
How much potential?
Well, consider how applying the concept of binary digits with electricity and silicon has led to the incomprehensibly vast digital economy on which our entire civilization is based. Now imagine applying that same fundamental concept just as systematically to all of Reality.
The potential is limitless.
